Brunda Siddaramappa
Founder & DirectorBrunda is a Computer Engineer by education and worked in the IT industry for 15+ years. Driven by a deep and enduring passion for Montessori philosophy and early childhood education, she made a purposeful career transition from computers to education in 2019.
She is a certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and is a trained Virtue Education teacher. Brunda loves being with children and has been a favourite among children ever since she was a college student, continuing till date. Like Dr. Montessori, Brunda believes that “the child is both a hope and a promise for mankind”, and strives to help guide children to their full potential.
Brunda enjoys reading and travelling, with a keen interest in exploring diverse cultures and cuisines.
Brunda strongly believes that we really owe it to our children ‘a world that is built with kindness’. In order to do that, we have to model kindness among ourselves and create a culture of kindness in our society. That was how ‘The Big Kindness Tree’ began!

Philomena Alexander
Center HeadPhilomena brings over 15 years of experience in administration, operations, procurement, and preschool management, with a strong commitment to creating efficient systems and nurturing high-quality learning environments. She has held leadership roles in preschool management, along with extensive experience in corporate administration, service coordination, and operational management.
Her expertise spans centre operations, admissions, parent relations, staff management, HR administration, budgeting, procurement, and vendor management. Known for her exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and solution-oriented approach, Philomena ensures the seamless day-to-day functioning of the centre while fostering a warm, collaborative, and positive work culture.
Philomena holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) and a Diploma in IT Office Management. She believes that strong leadership and efficient administration create the foundation for meaningful learning experiences, enabling educators to focus on what matters most—helping children grow with confidence, curiosity, and joy.
With her dedication to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and teamwork, Philomena plays a vital role in supporting The Big Kindness Tree’s mission of providing a nurturing, organized, and inspiring environment where every child, family, and educator can flourish.

Abha Tiwari
Curriculum HeadAbha is a passionate educator with over ten years of experience in early childhood education. Raised in a family of dedicated teachers, she developed a deep appreciation for the values of empathy, trust, compassion, and meaningful relationships from an early age. She believes these values are at the heart of creating joyful and enriching learning experiences for children.
Abha holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from DAVV, Indore, and began her professional journey as a Lecturer in Biochemistry at Christian Eminent College, Indore. She also completed a Certificate in Clinical Research from Tulane University, New Orleans, USA. Her academic background and inquisitive mindset have shaped her belief that teaching is a continuous journey of discovery. She views every classroom experience as an opportunity to learn, innovate, and nurture curiosity in young minds.
During her 3 years at The Big Kindness Tree, Abha made a significant contribution to fostering a warm, child-centred learning environment where children felt safe, respected, and inspired to explore. She cherished the opportunity to learn alongside her students and believes that the innocence, curiosity, and positivity of young children make teaching one of the most rewarding professions.
Abha later relocated to Indore for personal reasons and currently serves as a Curriculum Head, where she continues to work remotely and designs meaningful learning experiences and guides educators in creating high-quality early childhood programmes.

Chaitra G
Montessori DirectressChaitra holds a B.Tech degree in Instrumentation and Technology. Her love for working with children and deep admiration for the Montessori Method—especially its emphasis on honoring each child’s individuality—led her to transition into early childhood education.
She pursued an Advanced Diploma in Montessori Education (ADME) and an Advanced Diploma in Nursery Education (ADNE), and brings over 4 years of experience in early childhood care and education.
Chaitra is passionate about shaping both the minds and hearts of young learners. Her classrooms reflect her belief in nurturing curiosity, independence, and joy in learning. Outside of school, she enjoys participating in cultural and sports activities, bringing the same energy and enthusiasm into all that she does.

Manognya V
Montessori DirectressWith a foundation in Computer Science Engineering and professional experience at Google, Manognya’s journey took a profound turn when she discovered her passion for early childhood education through the Montessori philosophy at NAFL, Basaveshwara nagar. Inspired by its child-centric and holistic approach, she pursued through a comprehensive training at IMTC, HYMANSHU, Malleswaram, where she deepened her understanding of the Montessori method.
Manognya has also worked with NPS, further enriching her experience in guiding young minds. Known for her patient and compassionate nature, she brings creativity and dedication to her teaching, offering individual attention and support to every child. She firmly believes that Montessori education provides an authentic and meaningful foundation during the most crucial years of a child’s development.
Beyond the classroom, Manognya is a pencil sketch artist and a trained Carnatic vocalist, bringing a touch of artistic expression and cultural richness into her teaching practice. Her calm demeanor, commitment to nurturing growth, and creative approach make her a cherished educator in the Montessori environment.

Nayanashree T
Language Development TeacherNayana began her professional journey in healthcare, gaining over 4.5 years of experience as a staff nurse, where she found deep fulfillment in caring for others. After becoming a mother, her interest gradually shifted toward early childhood development, leading her to discover the Montessori approach to education.
Inspired by a passion for nurturing young minds, Nayana joined The Big Kindness Tree, where she brought empathy, patience, and a genuine love for children into the classroom. Her commitment to continuous learning led her to undergo intensive training in Jolly Phonics, equipping her with specialized skills in developing children’s early literacy and communication abilities.
With this valuable experience and training, Nayana currently serves as a Language Development Teacher. She is passionate about fostering a love for language, reading, and communication in young learners, while creating a warm, encouraging environment where every child feels confident to express themselves and grow at their own pace.

Eliza Dion Vayalil
Special Educator & Child PsychologistEliza brings a unique blend of deep psychological insight and dedicated academic training to her work as a Special Educator. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Journalism, and Women’s Studies, alongside a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology, her educational foundation allows her to view inclusive education through a comprehensive, child-centric lens.
Driven by an enduring passion for making learning spaces genuinely inclusive and accessible for everyone. She has experience in managing teams of special educators, designing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and conducting behavior therapy sessions. Her clinical expertise includes training in advanced therapeutic modalities and specialized educational frameworks, allowing her to support children with diverse learning needs effectively.
Beyond her core role in special education, Eliza is a highly creative professional who enjoys content writing and developing engaging educational materials. Through teacher training, parent collaboration, and behavioral strategies, Eliza ensures every child feels understood, supported, and valued.

Assistant Teacher & Enrichment Program CoordinatorAnita holds a B.Tech in Information Technology and began her professional career in the IT industry, working with leading companies such as Tech Mahindra and Genpact. After becoming a mother, her passion naturally shifted toward early childhood education, inspiring her to explore and embrace the Montessori philosophy.
At The Big Kindness Tree, she is dedicated to nurturing young learners with empathy, creativity, and genuine care. Along with guiding children in the classroom, Anita leads Physical Education, yoga, dance, and engaging science experiments, creating joyful, hands-on learning experiences that encourage children to stay active, curious, and excited to learn.
Anita believes that every child learns best through exploration, movement, and meaningful experiences. She is committed to fostering confidence, curiosity, independence, and overall well-being, helping each child build a strong foundation for lifelong learning and reach their fullest potential.
